Ooh La, La Grassa!

My business travels recently took me to the pretty little city of Minneapolis. Opened for just two short weeks in a reclaimed warehouse space, Bar La Grassa was already every bit chic: brick walls, dark wood, leather booths, an open, stainless steel kitchen, and a cool crowd ta boot! I was impressed with our server's attentiveness, and the owner even made her table rounds to check in.
We ate sausage and fresh pastas made in-house. I ordered the chicken and a side of farro with gorgonzola, portions large enough to pass around the table. The menu was precise and plentiful. We drank South Australian Viognier, Argentinean Malbec and Merlot. Five hours and several scoops of ice cream later, we made our exit, fat and happy..
