Baby, she's got it

I came across a great new blog the other day, Healthy Tipping Point.  One particular post was about embarrassing moments at the gym, but I wasn't interested enough to actually read.  So as luck would have it, as I worked out, I walked head first into the tricep pulldown grip.  Luckily, the weight room was almost empty, but I quickly ran upstairs to the room with less accident prone equipment, aka, fit balls and mats.  Now I have a knot on my forehead.  I must have a thing.  Earlier this summer,  running the bleachers at Red Rocks (alone), I stepped on a rock, turned my ankle, and made a not so graceful fall.  This happened just moments after thinking I really would be a damsel in distress if something were to happen...
Which reminds me of my busted knee after a slip at Sanitas and another turned ankle from misjudging where the sidewalk ended, the latter being a most common occurrence...

Ahem.    But I do okay on stairs...

  1. I have considered wearing a football helmet as a routine part of my personal dress code. I'm tall and bump into things all the time. I'm just afraid the face mask would inhibit my alcohol intake. Which ironically seems like a good thing, but I assure you its not.
