My One Word

Last year my word was live.  When I picked my twenty-eleven word two weeks ago, growth came to mind first.  And as I opened my thick American Heritage dictionary (for the first time) to read its definition, I turned right to its listing on page 613  (coincidence?!).

growth n. The process of growing.  Full development; maturity.  Development from a lower or simpler to a higher or more complex form.  An increase, as in size or strength; extension or expansion.

Now, as I focus my year on all things growth, it should look something like this: new career, spirituality and maturity, relationships, serving, evolving,  improving, learning, awareness, intention, giving, living, growth.
